BOSTON – Sathya Mandjiny has joined Ed Markey’s campaign for re-election to the U.S. Senate as Deputy Political Director. “I am thrilled to join Ed Markey’s campaign,” said Mandjiny. “Senator Markey has a long history of fighting for all the citizens of the Commonwealth regardless of race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic class. He makes sure all voices are heard.”
“Sathya is an outstanding addition to our team,” said John Walsh, Senior Campaign Director. “She brings with her a keen understanding of the state political process and a background with expertise in social and cultural issues.”
A native of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Sathya attended the University of Chapel Hill, graduating in 2012 with a major in Global Studies and South Asian Studies. She received her Masters in Social Work from Boston College in 2017. Sathya has studied Bharata Natyam, Indian classical dance, from the age of 14. Sathya resides in Quincy.
