BOSTON – Cassidy Bissell has joined Ed Markey’s campaign for re-election to the United States Senate as the Operations Director. Prior to joining the Markey campaign, Cassidy worked as the Operations Coordinator for HubWeek and as the Scheduling and Operations Director for Setti Warren’s Campaign for Governor.

“Cassidy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our office,” said John Walsh, Campaign Manager. “In this role, she is responsible for supporting many aspects of our day-to-day efforts. I’m grateful to have her as part of the leadership on our campaign.”

“Senator Markey fights for progressive values every single time he steps onto the Senate floor,” said Bissell. “He knows the real-world impacts of inaction on critical issues such as climate change, lack of access to healthcare, and restrictions on women’s rights, and he carries this knowledge with him to Washington. His continued leadership in the U.S. Senate is critical to ensuring a safer and healthier Massachusetts.”

Cassidy received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University in 2015. She currently resides in Cambridge.
