Senator Markey Applauds Hillary Clinton Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease
Medford, Massachusetts – Senator Ed Markey (D-Mass.) released the following statement applauding Hillary Clinton’s new plan to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer’s disease. Senator Markey is House author of the National Alzheimer’s Project Act, the law passed in 2010 that called for the first comprehensive national plan from the federal government to address Alzheimer’s disease. Senator Markey is founder and co-Chair of the bipartisan, bicameral Congressional Task Force on Alzheimer’s.
