WNYT — U.S. Senate hopeful Markey stumps in Pittsfield

There’s only one U.S. Senate seat up for grabs this year and it happens to be in the state of Massachusetts. The man who has now become the leading contender to replace John Kerry in the Senate held a political rally in Pittsfield Tuesday night.

Edward Markey first went to congress 37 years ago, being re-elected every time since. Eight times he ran unopposed.

There was no mistaking who the Berkshire Brigade members are pulling for in the upcoming special election in Massachusetts, just like there’s no mistaking where Congressman Edward Markey stands on political issues.
