BOSTON — Representing the communities of Arlington, Ashland, Bedford, Belmont, Boston, Cambridge, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Chelsea, Concord, Everett, Framingham, Lexington, Lincoln, Malden, Marlborough, Medford, Methuen, Natick, Revere, Saugus, Somerville, Sudbury, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, Weston, Winchester, Winthrop, and Woburn, 25 leaders from the Greater Boston area are giving their strong endorsement to Ed Markey and his campaign for reelection to the U.S. Senate.

“These dedicated leaders represent the growing, thriving cities and towns where I grew up, where I worked my way through college, where I vacationed as a boy with my family in the summer, and which are home to some of the most diverse neighborhoods in Massachusetts,” said Markey. “In the face of attacks from Trump and MAGA Republicans, they are defending the health, rights, safety, and futures of hardworking families every day, and I’m proud to fight alongside them. It is an honor to have their endorsements.”

“It is more critical now than ever that we have strong leadership at the national level to fight back on things that we care most about in the state of Massachusetts,” said State Senator DiDomencio. “Zip codes don’t matter to Ed Markey because he believes every child should have the opportunity to succeed. He fights for everyone in the state of Massachusetts. We need him now more than ever fighting for us, and I’m proud to once again stand with my good friend, and all of our good friends, Ed Markey, for U.S. Senate.”

“Senator Markey has been a tireless champion for working families, climate justice, and equity across the Commonwealth and the country,” said State Rep. Giannino. “His efforts on issues that matter, like clean energy, public health, and protecting our democracy, continue to inspire a new generation of changemakers.  I'm proud to stand with him and to support his re-election to the United States Senate.”
