July 25th, 2025
BOSTON— State legislators from throughout Boston are throwing their support behind Senator Ed Markey’s reelection to the U.S. Senate. Today’s announcement follows a series of dozens of endorsements representing major regions throughout Massachusetts.
“Boston is our shining city upon a hill, and these leaders’ efforts on health care, access to education, social justice, housing affordability, and climate action make us an example for the nation,” said Markey. “Boston’s families are represented by the brightest, hardest-working, most effective leaders in the country, and my job is to fight for their vision and values in the U.S. Senate. I’m honored to have their endorsement for re-election.”
“Senator Ed Markey has always been a champion for the people of Massachusetts—fighting for working families, environmental justice, and the future our communities deserve,” said State Senator Lydia Edwards. “From housing to climate to reproductive rights, he leads with integrity and urgency. He shares our Massachusetts values, whether it's on the Senate floor, in congressional hearings, or out on the streets in our communities,” said House Ways & Means Chair Aaron Michlewitz. “He has our back, and he has our values at hand.
